Assemblymember Pérez Responds to State of the State Address

(Sacramento) – Assemblymember V. Manuel Pérez (D-Coachella) says he’s hopeful after listening to the Governor’s annual State of the State Address. Assemblymember Pérez said he appreciates the Governor’s optimism and he thinks the Governor’s focus on education and the economy is on target. The California Department of Social Services is reminding eligible families to apply for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The EITC is a reduction in taxes provided to low income workers based on the amount of income they earn and the size of their family.  For more information, visit this web site.
