Ahead of May 15th Medicare Deadline, A Free Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Workshop and Senior Health Fair to be held in Clairemont

WHAT: Free Medicare Part D workshop and Senior Health Fair

WHEN: on Friday, April 28th from 9 am to 3pm

WHERE: the Clairemont Friendship Senior Center on 4425 Bannock Ave, San Diego, 92117.

representatives of the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) Counselors
Medicare Rx staff
Consumer Center of Health Education and Advocacy (CCHEA) staff
The San Diego County Pharmacists Association pharmacists

WHY: With the May 15th deadline for enrollment approaching, many seniors are still having trouble navigating prescription program options. Counselors at the workshop will provide clarification of prescription programs and the drugs covered. Health care advocates will also be available to provide information on other health concerns.
