Assembly Member Saldaña to Give State of the District Address

SACRAMENTO - Assembly Member Lori Saldaña (D-San Diego) will address the community on statewide issues and announce her legislative package for 2006 at her State of the District Address on Friday, January 20 at 4:00 pm at University of San Diego’s Degheri Alumni Center.

Among the measures Saldaña is expected to announce is a bill creating a San Diego Bay Conservancy, and legislation to increase outreach efforts to the state’s veterans. She will also offer her ideas on increasing grass-roots volunteerism and community involvement.

Assembly Member Saldaña represents the 76th Assembly District which includes City Heights, Clairemont, Downtown, Mission Valley, Hillcrest, Mission Beach, North Park, Pacific Beach and Point Loma.
