SAN DIEGO – Assemblymember Lori Saldaña (D-San Diego) will host a community cleanup on Saturday October 29th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the corner of Myrtle and Van Dyke in City Heights.

“We’ll be picking up trash, cleaning up graffiti, and sweeping away dirt in anticipation of Halloween’s invasion of pirates, ghosts and fairy princesses,” Saldaña said.

Assemblymember Saldaña encouraged anybody looking to improve the appearance of their community – and perhaps avoid some unwelcome Halloween tricks - to come down and volunteer.

The event is sponsored in conjunction with The Association for Community Organizations For Reform Now (ACORN), the City Heights Community Development Corporation and I Love A Clean San Diego.
