SACRAMENTO, CA—Assemblyman Jose Solorio (D-Anaheim) announced today that he has named Westminster Press, Inc. the Sixty-Ninth Assembly District’s “Small Business of the Year.” 

“I am very proud to honor Westminster Press for its achievements,” said Assemblyman Solorio.  “The company is an invaluable asset not only to local businesses, but also to the community as a whole.”  Assemblyman Solorio has presented Mr. Tang with an Assembly Resolution honoring Westminster Press, Inc. as the Sixty-Ninth District’s “Small Business of the Year.”

Westminster Press provides comprehensive printing services for the Orange County community.  The company offers a variety of high quality printing services for businesses, individuals and other organizations including newspapers, magazines, brochures, catalogs, business cards, posters flyers, and much more. 

The company is responsible for printing many of the ethnic publications in Orange County, including Vietnamese, Chinese, and Spanish language newspapers and magazines, as well as the quarterly course catalog for Santa Ana College.

Gary Tang founded Westminster Press in 1985 after the Chinese movie theater he had done printing for since 1979 closed its doors and went out of business. 

Mr. Tang graduated from Can Tho University in Can Tho City, Vietnam, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1977.  He is particularly active in the Vietnamese American community and has provided support for projects welcoming Vietnamese immigrants to Little Saigon, the Vietnamese business district.
