(Rialto) District 62 Assembly Member Wilmer Amina Carter is hosting a reception for military veterans at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday,  May 15 at her district office, 335 N. Riverside Avenue, Rialto. The May event, which recognizes Veteran's Appreciation Month, is free and open to the public. Special honorees include Freddie Martinez, 62nd District Veteran of the Year, Celeste D. Williams, Joe Dean, Marion Black and the California National Guard San Bernardino Headquarters 1-185th.
