Soto To Speak At Ribbon Cutting For New Manufacturing Facility |

State Senator Nell Soto (D – Pomona) will join other dignitaries at a March 11 ribbon- cutting ceremony for a new manufacturing facility at San Bernardino International Trade Center. Others expected to participate include San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales, Nogales Investors Managing Partner Luis Nogales, and CalPERS C.E.O. Fred Buenrostro. The plant will be operated by Video King, a leading producer of electronic gaming and bingo equipment, and is expected to generate at least 60 new jobs for the region. Video King’s decision to locate at the former Norton Air Force Base was made possible by a $10 million investment by Nogales Investors Management, a Los Angeles-based firm. Event: Ribbon Cutting For Video King Manufacturing Facility When: Friday, March 11, beginning at 11:45 a.m. Location: Video King Gaming Entertainment (Building 56) 115 North Del Rosa Avenue, San Bernardino Nogales Investors was one of several firms to benefit from the California State Teachers’ Retirement System’s Alternative Investment Program and the California Public Employees’ Retirement System’s California Initiative Program. Both programs were designed to provide CalSTRS and CalPERS with new opportunities to invest in previously underserved markets (primarily in California). |
