Lieu Receives Key Committee Assignments

SACRAMENTO – Assembly Member Ted Lieu was recently appointed to a number of key committees by Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. The appointments are as follows:

• Committee on Banking and Finance
  
• Committee on Health
  
• Committee on Natural Resources
  
• Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife
  

Assembly Member Lieu was also tapped to Chair the Select Committee on Aerospace.

I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Assembly to improve the quality of life for the residents of the 53rd Assembly District and California " stated Assembly Member Lieu.

The 53rd Assembly District encompasses LAX as well as the communities of Lomita, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Venice, Westchester, Mar Vista, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, and parts of West Los Angeles.
