Dymally Issues Statement on Death of Muhammad Nassardeen

COMPTON - California Legislative Black Caucus Chair the Honorable Mervyn M. Dymally (D-Compton) issued the following statement regarding the passing of Muhammad Nassardeen.

“The State of California has suffered an incredible loss of Muhammad Nassardeen; a distinguished businessman, community leader and the founder of Recycling Black Dollars.”

“The chronicles of history shall portray Muhammad as a stalwart champion of political and business empowerment within the Los Angeles’ African American community -- an objective he pursued with earnest diligence.”

“As an ardent advocate and supporter of his goals, Muhammad and I enjoyed a shared admiration for each other. His astute advice and loyalty to economic development were just some of his engaging qualities.”

“I join the countless recipients’ of Muhammad’s advocacy in expressing my deepest sympathy to his family. Muhammad shall be remembered as an extraordinary man; he made an enormous difference in all of our lives.”
