Assemblymember De La Torre Available to Offer Unbiased Opinion Re: Presidential Democratic Primary

 

Los Angeles, CA – Assemblymember Hector De La Torre (D-South Gate) will be available to offer his unbiased opinion prior to the presidential primary in California, an early state.

Assemblymember De La Torre will be available to offer his objective political view to reporters interested in speaking with a California democratic legislator to get an unbiased opinion regarding the presidential race prior to the early primaries and caucuses scheduled in five rich delegation states including California, New York, New Hampshire, Iowa and New Hampshire. 

De La Torre, who has abstained from endorsing any of the eight democratic presidential candidates before the February caucuses and primary election scheduled for February, 5, 2008, will be available for comment.

De La Torre, Chair of the California Assembly Rules Committee, who has championed legislation to protect patient healthcare from unscrupulous HMOs and cleaning-up local government.  He represents the Southeast cities in the Los Angeles County area comprised by Bell, Bellflower, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, Florence/Graham, Lynwood, South Gate and Walnut Park.
