Los Angeles, CA- Assemblymember Hector De La Torre (D- South Gate) in collaboration with the Oldtimers Association, Human Services Association, and the City of South Gate will provided toys to nearly 300 families at the 4th Annual “Holiday Helpers” toy giveaway.

“This event is a great way to close the year.  Every year, I look forward in sharing the spirit of the Holiday Season with hundreds of low income families in our communities,” said Assemblymember Hector De La Torre.

Holiday Helpers –Toy giveaway to benefit nearly 300 low-income families and 800 children and their families in the 50th Assembly District.  The 50th Assembly District is comprised by the cities of Bell, Bellflower, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, Florence, Lynwood and Walnut Park.

The event took place, this past Saturday, December 15th, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Gate Auditorium, 4900 Southern Ave.South Gate, CA 90280.
