What:	Majority Leader Karen Bass and the 47^th Assembly District People’s Council for the is hosting a town hall meeting on the Iraq War on Sunday, October 14^th at the Hamilton High School Auditorium (2955 South Robertson - two blocks north of 10 Freeway) in Los Angeles. The two-hour event, which starts at 3 p.m., will include a panel discussion with Congresswoman Diane Watson as well as Major General Paul Eaton, who was charged with rebuilding Iraqi Armed Forces in 2003-04. Portions of the award-winning documentary No End In Sight by Charles Ferguson will also be shown at the event. The town hall meeting will get behind the headlines including the Blackwater Congressional Hearing as well explore what’s really going on in Iraq and how it’s affecting our community. Attendees can bring items for care packages being put together for the Iraqi troops.
