Assembly Majority Leader Karen Bass, Los Angeles City Councilman Herb Wesson and the 47th Assembly District Health Commission will host Well Body – Well Mind Community Health Fair at Rancho Cienega Park, 5001 Rodeo Road, on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This community event is free admission, open to the public and will include informational booths with resources on health related services and programs.

There will be healthy living demonstrations including include Yoga, Fitness, Nutrition and Acupuncture. Attendees will be able to receive onsite testing for Asthma, Blood Pressure and HIV/AIDS. There will also be on-site Glucose Screening and Mammograms. Entertainment includes African Dance, Los Angeles Area Choirs, Brazilian Capoeira (martial arts) and much more. Health professionals will be on hand to review of immunization books.
