Los Angeles - Assembly Majority Leader Karen Bass and the 47th Assembly District Health Commission will host a Community Health Fair at Rancho Cienega Park, 5001 Rodeo Road, on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will include various health promotion activities as well as free services, such as tests for cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, and vision screenings. Performances will include yoga, African and contemporary dance and Capoeira demonstrations. Office of Councilman Herb Wesson and Community Coalition are co-sponsors of the health fair.
