SACRAMENTO – Speaker Fabian Núñez (D-Los Angeles) today gave the keynote address at the Sacramento Press Club, where he discussed California’s budget crisis and tomorrow’s visit by Mexican President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa.

“We’ve been having very positive and meaningful conversations with Republican Assembly leaders to try and get a solution to the budget,” Speaker Núñez said. “To me, when you’re looking at the current year’s crisis, it has less to do with where the cuts are than how deep they are.”
