Speaker Núñez Votes, Predicts Record Turnout in Today’s Primary

LOS ANGELES – Speaker Fabian Núñez (D-Los Angeles) today predicted record primary turnout in California before voting in the February 5 Democratic primary. Speaker Núñez said:

“California is going to make a difference in this election. This Super Tuesday, there’s no question that we’re the big fish in the pond, and I’m going to join millions of people today in this diverse state of over 37 million people, who are finally going to have a say in who our nominees are for both the Democratic and Republican tickets for the presidency. So I’m very excited, and I think we’re going to have a record turnout.”
