| Speaker Núñez Appoints Suzanne Cline to the State Commission on Juvenile Justice | |
SACRAMENTO— Speaker Fabian Núñez (D-Los Angeles) today appointed Suzanne Cline to the 12-member State Commission on Juvenile Justice. “Suzanne Cline has worked with youth offenders for years,” Speaker Núñez said. “She understands the environmental and psychological factors that contribute to youth violence, and she will put this knowledge to good use on the State Commission on Juvenile Justice.” Suzanne Cline, 53, of Lancaster, is a Deputy Probation Officer at the Los Angeles County Probation Department. She is also a member of the Black Probation Officers Association. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Chapman University. She is a registered Democrat. The State Commission on Juvenile Justice provides comprehensive oversight, planning, and coordination of efforts which enhance the partnership and performance of state and local agencies in effectively preventing and responding to juvenile crime. Cline’s appointment begins today, and she serves at the pleasure of the Speaker. |
