Average Funding Not Enough
(Sacramento) As the California State Assembly debated a resolution calling for improved education funding, Assemblymember Paul Krekorian (D-Burbank) stood to argue in favor of the resolution. Noting the extensive debate on the resolution, Assemblymember Krekorian called it a sad day for California when the state legislature cant even agree on a resolution that calls for California to boost its education spending up to the national average. Assemblymember Krekorian went on to say failure to pay the real costs of education is shortchanging our children and the state. Heres more in this Assembly Access video.
