Banning PVC Packaging: The Poison Plastic

(Sacramento) – A California lawmaker wants to ban the plastic used to make packaging for many consumer products. Assemblymember Julia Brownley (D-Santa Monica) didn’t write Assembly Bill 2505 because many of the plastic packages are hard to open. She wrote the proposed law because the material used to make the plastic packages is toxic throughout its life cycle. Here’s more in this Assembly Web Report.
