Levine Issues Statement Condemning Hateful Action at the West Valley Jewish Community Center

SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Lloyd Levine (D-Van Nuys) today made the following statement in response to an arson attempt yesterday at the New Jewish Community Center at Milken in the West Valley:

“It is unfortunate that hateful acts such as the one that took place yesterday in West Valley still occur in our society,” Assemblymember Levine said. “However, I’m glad no one was hurt and I have every confidence that the person or persons responsible for trying to set fire to the Jewish Community Center will be brought to justice as soon as possible and be adequately punished for their actions by the Los Angeles Police Department.”
