Santa Barbara - Assemblymember Pedro Nava will be touring theTri-Counties Regional Center to meet with staff and clients on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the 520 E. Montecito Street in Santa Barbara.  

“I look forward to touring the Regional Center and meeting with staff and some of their clients,” said Nava. ”The Center provides important services for individuals and families with developmental disabilities.  In a very challenging budget year, it is important to do everything we can to protect those who are most vulnerable.”

The Tri-Counties Regional Center provides support and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities living in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. The support and services cover the life span of individuals with developmental disabilities which include early assessment, recreational, employment, residential and medical needs.
