Internship Opportunities

One of the best ways to understand the inner workings of our form of government is through a State Assembly internship program. We need bright, motivated individuals to participate and make a difference in a variety of important projects in the district and capitol offices.

Eligibility: Participants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Assemblymember Pedro Nava's Internship Program runs on a contract system with a specified length of time. The length of the internship is negotiated before its commencement.

Benefits: Although unpaid, interns receive important benefits as participants of the program. Behind-the-scene experience, meeting high-profile figures, and letters of recommendation for excellent performance are just a few of the many benefits afforded through this prestigious internship program.
