Youth Leadership Programs

National Teen Leadership Program - Organizes a weekend leadership camp for high school students.

Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project - Organizes a Chicano Latino leadership training conference in Sacramento for high school sophomores and juniors.

Asian Pacific Youth Leadership Project - Organizes a Asian Pacific leadership training conference in Sacramento for high school juniors and seniors.

United States Senate Youth Program – Immerses junior and senior high school leadership students in Washington, DC activities during an all-expense-paid week’s stay and provides $5,000 college scholarships.

Political Internships and Fellowships

Assemblyman Juan Arambula Legislative Internship Program - Internships are available in my Fresno District Office.

Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program (formerly the California State Assembly Fellowship Program) - Provides stipend fellowships for graduate students interested in public policy in the California State Legislature.

Great Valley Center IDEAL Fellowship - Provides leadership training to strengthen the local capacity for effective public policy decision-making impacting the economic, social and environmental future of California's Central Valley.

Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholars Program - Provides stipend internships with health policy responsibilities for minority undergraduate students in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., and The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies - Provide stipend summer internships for undergraduate students and year-long fellowships for graduate students in the United State Senate and House of Representatives.

National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund Leadership Programs - Place Latino undergraduate and graduate students in stipend congressional internships through the Shell Legislative Internship Program (SLIP) and The Ford Motor Company Fellows Program.

Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) Summer Internship Program - Provides summer internships for Chinese American undergraduate students in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives.

American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) Congressional Internship Program - Provides stipend summer internships for disabled undergraduate students in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives.
