Assemblymember Juan Arambula (D-Fresno) has announced his participation in turkey dinner giveaways to dozens of pre-selected families today for Thanksgiving dinner. “I feel that every Valley family deserves to have much to be thankful for this holiday season,” Arambula said. “For some families, a turkey dinner is just the good news they need to feel the warm spirit of Thanksgiving.”

Assemblymember Arambula is partnering with the Community Food Bank to distribute 35 turkeys and 32 full turkey dinners to needy families throughout the 31st Assembly District.

Assemblymember Arambula will personally deliver 8 full turkey dinners today to families with children attending Birney Elementary School in Central Fresno.

Assemblymember Arambula’s participation in turkey giveaways continues from last week:

• Assemblymember Arambula joined Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante last Tuesday in Selma and Fresno to give away turkeys to constituents. Over 850 turkeys were distributed in Fresno and nearly 400 were distributed in Selma.
  
  
• Assemblymember Arambula worked with Fresno City Councilmember Cynthia Sterling last Friday to give 40 turkeys to families in West Fresno.
