UNLOCKING THE DOOR TO HOMEOWNERSHIP
The 2005 Affordable Housing Fair

Assemblymember Juan Arambula has invited new homeowners, potential homebuyers, and other members of the community to a free workshop on buying and maintaining a home. A variety of government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses will be on hand to provide important information on financial services and assistance programs. Participants can even win door prizes!

Classes will be offered on:

-- Your credit and how it affects buying a home

-- The home-buying process and government assistance programs available

-- Tips for common maintenance and repair needs

-- Landscaping and decorating your home

-- Getting involved in your neighborhood
