Assemblymember Juan Arambula Heads Back to Sacramento to Make "Cents" of the State Budget |
Fresno, CA – As the start of the legislative year begins on Monday, January 7, 2008, Assemblymember Juan Arambula (D-Fresno) will head back to Sacramento to deal with the state’s looming budget crisis. According to Arambula, as Chair of the Budget Sub Committee on State Administration, he will be making budget decisions that will not only affect the Central Valley, but the entire state. “We have a huge task ahead of us, cleaning up billions of dollars of the state’s budget deficit,” said Assemblymember Arambula. “Everyone is going to feel the affects of the state’s budget crisis, but we have to get California back on track so we can revive our economy and continue to be the driving force of this nation.” Arambula will also head back to hear Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger give his 4th State of the State address on Tuesday, January 8, 2007. |
