California Comes to the Valley Looking for Good Candidates to Serve the State

| What: | Assemblymembers Juan Arambula and Mike Villines will bring California State Appointments Secretary to the Central Valley for an informational meeting and reception with local leaders and community members. The meeting with Secretary Cruz will give leaders a chance to learn about what positions are available on the many Board or Commissions in the state and insight on the application process and what qualifications are needed. “It is important for myself and Assemblymember Villines to show Secretary Cruz what the Central Valley has to offer,” said Assemblymember Arambula. “We need to have more valley representation on the boards and commissions and events like this are a good start.” Cruz was recently named Appointments Secretary by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in August of this year. |
