INTERNSHIPS
There is no better way to learn about state government and the issues affecting the Central Valley than by interning in one of my three offices.
Internships are available for both high school and college students throughout the year, though residents of the 30th Assembly District will be given preference. For internships during the school year, my office will be more than accommodating to a student's school schedule. Many students have taken advantage of internships through my office by receiving college or university credit. However, it is the responsibility of the student to arrange course credit.
An intern position in any of my offices consists of attending briefings, hearings and seminars, assisting with special projects, conducting research, assisting with administrative duties, and responding to constituent requests.
To apply for an internship, please e-mail your resume to the staff member at the office where you would like to apply.
