| On April 24, 2006, Crime Victims United (CVUC) honored Assemblywoman Nicole Parra as its “Legislator of the Year,” for the second consecutive year.
The presentation of the award occurred during a daytime program, outside the State Capitol. As part of 2006 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (April 23-29), the CVUC held its 17th Annual Victims’ March on the Capitol, sponsored by the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA). During the program, Assemblywoman Parra was commended for her strong support of crime victims and her tough stance on public safety issues. |
