SACRAMENTO –Following an all-night session that ended at 3:26 a.m. today, Assemblymember John Laird (D-Santa Cruz) announced the legislature passed and sent on to the governor 15 bills he authored, including: AB 14, Civil Rights Act of 2007 AB 110, Clean Needle Exchange Funding AB 156, Flood Control Planning AB 71, High-efficiency Toilets AB 739, Stormwater Runoff Management AB 740, Aquatic Invasive Species Management AB 1058, Residential Green Buildings Guidelines AB 1130, Above Ground Petroleum Storage Tanks AB 1220, Oil Spill Prevention Funds AB 1222, State Mandates Process Improvements AB 1396, California Coastal Trail Progress AB 1404, Urban and Agricultural Water Use Measurement AB 1420, Urban Water Conservation AB 1438, DeLaveaga Park Land Transfer AB 1492, Yield-to-Bus Safety Program These bills join AB 1280 (Fisheries Management) that is already awaiting action by the governor, as well as AB 1283 (First-time Homebuyer Program) that has already been signed by the governor.
