San Jose, Ca. – Assemblymember Joe Coto, SBC and the Tech Museum of Innovation, invite families to experience the wonders of innovation and technology at the Tech Museum on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thanks to a partnership between SBC and the Tech Museum, admission will be free for all.

"Exposure to the wonders of science and math in the early ages can peak student interest and enable them to experience success in high school and beyond," said Assemblymember Joe Coto, a former educator. "California's future demands a workforce with strong math and science skills. We need to make sure our students have the necessary skills to be competitive", continued Coto. The Assembly member is encouraging all the families in District 23 to take advantage of this valuable community resource. Science and math success in elementary and high schools are important gate keepers to college enrollment.

They offer a wide range of interactive activities, workshops, and forums to encourage creativity and learning, both in the museum and at home.
