Assemblymember Joe Coto of San Jose is partnering with Healthy Families and organizations such as Santa Clara County Children’s Health, Healthy Kids, Blue Cross, Delta Dental, Western Dental and others to provide the 96,000 uninsured children the opportunity to enroll in health insurance programs. Enrolling families will also receive free admission to the water park on August 20.
WHO: Public-private partnerships involving county and city governing bodies, local health and hospital systems, social service agencies and labor and faith-based organizations. WHAT: Enrollment to low or no cost health insurance for children 18 years old and younger who live in California and meet certain income and eligibility requirements. WHEN: Saturday, August 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Note: Assemblymember Coto is expected to be at the park about 11:00 a.m. WHERE: Raging Waters Park, 2333 South White Road San Jose, CA 95148 |
