Assemblymember Joe Coto (San Jose)  invites residents of the 23rd Assembly District to enjoy the 3rd  Annual Healthy Children’s Day at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San José, on Saturday, September 8, 2007, from 11 A.M. and 3P.M.  The event is designed to promote healthy living habits, literacy, and child safety and sponsored by the Children’s Discovery Museum of San José, PhRMA, Comcast, United Latinos Vote, Wells Fargo, Garden City Sanitation, Community Health Partnership, and Assemblymember Coto. 
          
Up to 5 members per family will be given free admission if they have a pass from Assemblymember Coto’s office. The passes were sent to residents with children in the 23rd Assembly District. In addition to the exciting programs offered by the Children’s Discovery Museum of San José, the following agencies will be providing activities for children and information to families: Kaiser Permanente, Sportsbasement, Devil Valley College, Mt. Diablo Dental Hygiene Association, Central YMCA, Child Quest International, California Optometric Association, and Children’s Health Initiative.  Free
lunch packs filled with coloring books, health bars and water will be distributed.

WHAT: Free admission to Children’s Discovery Museum of San José, many interactive exhibits: Kaiser Permanente teddy bear clinic, vision screening, fingerprinting of children, games and healthy exercises and give-aways for children.
