Californians Overwhelmingly Support Paid Sick Days Law En Español
(Sacramento) – A new survey conducted by the Field Research Corporation for the California Center for Research on Women and Families shows an overwhelming majority of Californians, regardless of their party affiliation, support paid sick days legislation. During a state capitol news conference Assembly Majority Leader Alberto Torrico (D-Newark), the principal co-author of Assembly Bill 2716, a bill that would make California the first state in the country to allow all workers to earn paid sick days, said the poll shows 73% of California voters are in favor of a law allowing all workers to earn paid sick days.
