Select Committee Hearing On Community Colleges On Green/Clean Tech Workforce Development

SACRAMENTO, CA – The hearing will explore the workforce needs created by green technologies.
It has been estimated that the green technology job sector, especially solar power, will increase approximately 10 times in the next 10 years.  Said Hayashi, “This hearing will address the readiness of the community college system to meet the growing demand for skilled workers.”
