Welcome to the 18th Assembly District website! I am honored to represent our diverse families and communities in the State Legislature, and encourage you to help me make a better future for California. Here you can learn more about the issues being discussed in Sacramento, and monitor the movement of legislation that affects so many aspects of our lives – from clean air and education, to health care access and privacy rights.
This site is designed to be your portal to legislative information, and I welcome your input on how we can work together to improve our quality of life. I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve on several committees, including Budget and Health, as well as chair the Assembly Select Committee on Community Colleges, which allow me to work on issues that are close to my heart and that are important to you and our communities.
I also hope you will be able to utilize the site’s links to state and local resources that can help you with practical matters, such as housing, traveling, and public safety. Please visit this site often to learn more about our current activities, and to participate in the various informative events and meetings that I am privileged to host in the district.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my site, and I look forward to working with you to create a healthier and safer California.
