June 16th, 2007: Assemblymember Swanson was honored to keynote the 22nd Annual African-American and African Graduation Celebration at the University of California, Davis. To Assemblymember Swanson’s right is Professor Moradewun Adejunmobi, who is the Director of the African-American and African Studies program at UC Davis. Dr. Halifu Osumare, Associate Professor of African-American and African Studies at UC Davis, stands to Assemblymember Swanson’s left.
