Internship Opportunities

California State Assemblyman Mark Leno’s internship program offers students and recent college graduates a rewarding interactive experience with community and statewide issues. Recently elected Assemblyman Leno represents the Eastern part of the City of San Francisco (13th Assembly/District, California). He is presently Chair of the State Assembly Public Safety Committee. Prior to being elected as an Assemblymember, Assemblyman Leno served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. He is directly involved with many local and national organizations including the LGBT Community Center Project, Haight Ashbury Community Services, the American Jewish Congress, Mobilization Against AIDS, and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. Assemblyman Leno has also vigorously worked on matters related to housing, health, alternative fuel, environment, finance, etc. Outside of his capacity as an elected official, Leno has been a tireless supporter of nonprofit organizations in San Francisco.
