As the Assembly Majority Whip, I am standing up for California as part of the Speaker’s leadership team. We have been working to provide quality healthcare for every Californian, to expand educational opportunities, to keep our communities safe, and to protect our environment.

In addition, I have been focused on a number of important issues facing California.  My Assembly Bill 1108 protects California’s kids from toxic chemicals, and as the Chair of the Legislative High-Speed Rail Caucus, I am working to keep California’s future on track.  With my experience as a Certified Public Accountant, I am always watchful of California’s bottom line and work every day to improve our state’s fiscal health.
