Wolk honors Davis student, presents scholarship

DAVIS– Assemblywoman Lois Wolk (D-Davis) honored Davis High School senior Susanna Ferguson, recipient of the 2005 National Women's Political Caucus Capitol Caucus "Young Woman on Her Way" scholarship.

"Susanna's enthusiasm and commitment to public service is truly impressive," said Assemblywoman Wolk. "I am sure she will be very successful in all she attempts in the future."

Ms. Ferguson has been an active leader in her community both inside and outside the classroom. Throughout high school, she garnered an impressive 4.3 GPA and served as both president and vice-president of the Davis High Health Advocates peer education program.
