| Assemblymember Noreen Evans responds to President Bush's State of the Union Address |
(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Noreen Evans responded to President Bush's State of the Union address by criticizing the President's call to implement his "freedom agenda" abroad, which has only led to endless war, and his renewed attempt to "reform" social security, a proposal rejected by Congress and unpopular with the American people. Assemblymember Evans is also concerned that President Bush failed to significantly address global warming and the failure of the No Child Left Behind Act, both issues of great concern to California. |
