Assemblymember Patty Berg will be in town on June 14th to greet her Sonoma County constituents. The Assemblymember will be on hand to answer questions and make sure everyone knows how to reach her should the need arise. Berg said, “Constituent service is a number one priority to me and my staff. I want my constituents to know that I am here and ready to serve.” She continued, “I am looking forward to this opportunity for one on one personal contact with my constituents, especially in a district as large as this.”

Elected in November of 2002, Assemblymember Patty Berg represents the 1st Assembly District. The District stretches from the Oregon Border south to include the Counties of Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Trinity and parts of Sonoma. She currently serves as Chair of the Joint Committee on Fisheries and Aquaculture and Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Aging and Long Term Care. She also serves on the Assembly Agriculture, Appropriations, Higher Education, Transportation, and Water Parks and Wildlife Committees.
