Assemblymember Patty Berg Invites Eureka Residents to District Office Open House

Assemblymember Patty Berg will be in town on May 16th to greet her constituents living in the surrounding area of her Eureka District Office. The Assemblymember will be on hand to answer questions and make sure everyone knows how to reach her should the need arise. Berg said, “Constituent service is the number one priority for me and my staff. I want my constituents to know that I am here and ready to serve.” She continued, “I think it’s important to have opportunities for one on one contact with constituents.”

Elected in November of 2002, Assemblymember Patty Berg represents the 1st Assembly District. The District stretches from the Oregon Border south to include the Counties of Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Trinity and parts of Sonoma. She currently serves as Chair of the Joint Committee on Fisheries and Aquaculture and Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Aging and Long Term Care. She also serves on the Assembly Agriculture, Appropriations, Higher Education, Transportation, and Water Parks and Wildlife Committees.
