SACRAMENTO—Assemblywoman Patty Berg, Chair of the Budget Subcommittee 1 on Health and Human Services issued the following statement in response to the May Revise:

“California deserves a government that puts people first, a government that protects the environment, plans for the future and takes care of our families and our children,” said Assemblywoman Patty Berg, D-Eureka, chair of the Budget Subcommittee on Health and Human Services. “The budget the governor gave us falls short of that goal.”
