Home is where we learn our first lessons. It’s where we gather our family and friends.

Home is where we live and love; where we laugh and cry.

For most of us, home is where we feel the most secure.

Sometimes, though, as we grow old, we need a little help so we can stay in our homes.

Without that help, too many older people are forced into nursing homes and institutions.

California has a program to help Frail, low-income seniors stay at home. It’s called M-S-S-P, the multipurpose senior services program. It helps seniors do their shopping, manage their healthcare, and take care of things that get harder as we get older.

My Assembly Bill 380 would protect this program, and would make sure that California does a better job of caring for its oldest residents.
