Statement of Assembly Speaker Karen Bass on Today’s Announcement on Water by Governor Schwarzenegger

SACRAMENTO – Speaker Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) today issued the following statement after the Governor expressed his concerns over drought conditions in California:

“I applaud the Governor for continuing to highlight the need to for continued progress on water conversation and supply as he did today. We look forward to reviewing his proposal in detail and seeing how it squares with the significant fiscal challenges we are facing.”
