Assemblymember Laird Condemns Attacks on UCSC Researchers

SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember John Laird (D-Santa Cruz) today released the following statement:

“I condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the attacks this weekend aimed at researchers at the University of California-Santa Cruz.  These actions have no place in a civilized society. Furthermore, putting kids in harms way as happened in this case is just unconscionable. I join with Chancellor Blumenthal, Mayor Coonerty, Chief Skerry and other concerned members of the community in denouncing these cowardly acts of clearly misguided individuals.”
