Media invited to meet with Senate, Assembly Latinos

SACRAMENTO – Members of the media are invited to meet state policymakers and learn more about Latino Caucus priorities affecting California's growing Latino population at a free reception Thursday in San Francisco.

The event comes mid-way through a two-day retreat where up to 27 Latino lawmakers serving in the California Senate and Assembly will conduct policy briefings, review their "guiding principles" and discuss possible measures for 2005 and beyond.
